The All-Time Top 100 Voices in the Movies

filmcritic.com: The All-Time Top 100 Voices in the Movies

Yes, it's another of those annoying lists! I got the link from Ray Banks over at The Saturday Boy, so blame him.

And another list to be mercilessly - and deservedly - ridiculed. Reason? Mel Blanc is 98th place rather than in the top 10. Sufferin' succotash! (And Christopher Walken is in 3rd place ahead of Jame Earl Jones and John Wayne.)

My thoughts exactly. Obviously another list put together by someone who's not really familiar with Blanc's work. Of course I'm so old that my first memory of him is when he was working on the Judy Canova radio show ("Pardon me for talking in your face, senorita.")

The fact that Charo is on the list at all voids its integrity. Don Knotts at 37, about 20 places ahad of Bogie? What were they smoking and drinking when they compiled this travesty?
