Little Richard -- Prima Donna or Goofball? We Report, You Decide.

WhatGoesOn.com- Little Richard slams The Beatles in concert: "Mary says that during the show, in between virtually every song, Little Richard went off on long rambling monologues that most of the audience couldn't understand at all. She says many other people who were near to where she was sitting had the same feelings, and some people were laughing at how embarrassing the show was, while others were shouting get on with it and play music."

Little Richard giving long rambling incoherent self-aggrandizing monologues? Now who the hel would believe that? Ed Gorman

I vote "goofball." I mean, assuming that the Beatles story is true (talk about a leap of faith), he turned down a 50% stake because they sounded like the Everlys? I would have been all over that deal like John Goodman on a baked ham.

Little Richard has been out of touch with reality for a long, long time. Nw he's out of touch with his audience. This proves my point that to become a legend you ought to die at the top of your game.

LR has for years been the Rock and Roll equivalent of Muhammad Ali. He talks a lot of talk, but it can only sustain him if he can rock and roll.

Tragically, from the sound of the review,it doesn't seem as if he can.

Ain't that a shame.
