Everybody's Getting into the Act

Story, video: Apaches go public with Bigfoot sightings | www.azstarnet.com ?: "Footprints in the mud. Tufts of hair on a fence. Ear-piercing screeches in the night. These are only fragments of the stories now coming from the White Mountains in Eastern Arizona.

For years the White Mountain Apache Nation has kept the secret within tribal boundaries. “We're not prone to easily talk to outsiders,” said spokeswoman Collette Altaha. “But there have been more sightings than ever before. It cannot be ignored any longer.”

It is a creature the world knows as “Bigfoot”."

Tune in to the Sci-Fi (shudder!) Channel next Saturday at 9, 8 Central, for a movie about this subject.

I was on the White Mountain Apache reservation last fall but I didn't see any sasquatch. Darn! I think they're trying to horn in. Up here in the northwest is where the guy is supposed to live.
