BILL CRIDER'S POP CULTURE MAGAZINE
I'm going to be honest ... and God help me. I can't quite call it a "good" movie, but I don't think it's as bad as its reputation. It has a few moments. The song about playing the accordian is so bad that I usual chuckle a bit.Besides, the REAL worst movie of all time is "The Wraith" with Charlie Sheen.Victor Gischler
I'll confess to having seen Ishtar but not to having seen The Wraith.
I don't watch all of Ishtar whenever it's on. But I never skip the opening 20 minutes, which are absolutely hysterical. Only a smuck would say otherwise.
Well, I wouldn't want to be a schmuck.
Remember the Cheers episode in which Lilith was the only one who thought Cliff's standup routine was funny? Must be a syndrome or something.
I've never seen Ishtar but I respect Judy too much to say anything bad about her taste.Anyway, the worst movie ever made was surely The Alpha Incident with a near comatose Ralph Meeker in one of his last roles.I know: don't call you Shirley.
Are you forgetting BATTLEFIELD EARTH? Or, as I prefer to call it, PLAN 10 FROM OUTER SPACE.And remember, Judy picked Bill, so her tastes can't be all bad.
There are some who would argue that point, Cap'n.
