Sometimes Georgia Leads the Way

No age limit on Gwinnett police Taser policy | ajc.com: "Last week's use of a Taser stun gun on a handcuffed 14-year-old trick or treater is within Gwinnett County police policy, which has no age provision, police said.

The only protection in the policy is for pregnant women because it could induce labor.

So what about a 5- or 6-year-old?

That's OK, according to Gwinnett police policy."

If Barney Fife had a taser would Andy only allow him a 9 volt battery?

Unknown said...

Probably. And he'd have to carry the battery in his pocket.

As a resident of the Peach State, I should be surprised by this...but I'm not. It's par for the course.

Nice to know that they're looking out for those women great with child, though.

Yes, but are they going to ask about a woman's condition before they tase her?

I've known plenty of six-year-old that needed tasing, if not capital punishment. Nits make lice, after all.

You're a haaaaaarrrrd man, Cap'n.

When word gets out about these clowns tasing everybody in sight, I think even these kindergarten kids will be crying out: "I'm pregnant!"

I guess that's better than "Don't tase me, bro!"
