Once Again, Texas Leads the Way

Local museum ranked #1 : News : KVII: "Two Texas panhandle museums have been mentioned in the May 2008 issue of 'True West' magazine. The issue lists the top ten western museums and the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum tops the list as the number one most loved museum. The American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame was mentioned on the honorable mention list."

E-mailed Bob Boze Bell once. Never heard back. Love the True West Moments bits he does for Encore Westerns. Sadly when the cable bill went up from $70-some to $90-some wifey dropped the subscription service and Encore Westerns and Fox Movie Channel are now a memory in this abode. Bombast... er, Comcast really suck (their tele-marketing people get pissed when I tell them why would I want their internet and phone service when they suck at cable TV service) and I need to get the DVR cleared off and call The Dish people, unless Verizon gets their FIOS service up around here - never had a problem with my phone, cell, or DSL service.

Only Texas would have a museum for panhandlers.
