By the Tanya Roberts metric, it was better than VIEW TO A KILL but not as good as SHEENA or INNER SANCTUM. At some point in the last 20 years, did the aliens abduct Marc Singer and his fellow '80s B-movie and TV action actors (Gil Gerard, Fred Dryer, Brent Huff, Lee Horsley) and spirit them away to Planet Mongo, never to be seen in the terrestrial mass media again? Sure seems that way.

My grandmother absolutely loved this show, though I can't say I was particularly taken with it, even as a kid. Good point from Fred re the mystery of the missing action heroes...

I think there's a good story idea there.

Not a bad flick, and we get to see Tanya Roberts' hooters.

Ah, a true classic of my youth. I LOVED this movie! And who wouldn't believe Rip Torn as the mad ruler?

BTW, Marc Singer created a well-reviewed documentary about homeless people living in disused subways in New York a few years ago.
