Wow. Gilbert is an idiot.

First there's this:
"Rather than playing polite for the dressed-up crowd, Colbert put his irony into fifth gear and even railed against the members of the press in the audience for not challenging the administration."

No, Colbert's bit was All About how cowardly and inept the press corps's behavior had been, with most of the criticism of the Bush Admin being coupled with that. Which is why the crybabies of the Press Club were so offended.

But Gilbert's idiocy doesn't become clear till he includes the 9/11 plane-bombing in the Big Moments list, and then puts up a poll asking, Which of these events was Most Important? Someone yelling at someone on SURVIVOR or the plane bombing?
