I never understood how ACCORDING TO JIM got past the first episode, let alone lasted all those years.

I watched one or two episodes of Michael Richards and none of the rest. Never even heard of most of them. I'm obviously not a target viewer.

I'm so glad to not have watched those shows. Some of the shows on Comedy Central should have gotten an honorable mention. Erghhh....

THE CHAIR on ABC and THE CHAMBER on Fox were 2002 "game shows" which featured contestants being tortured. While that might not be worse than some of E!'s "reality" shows, or VH-1's, but I suspect it is. Of course, FEAR FACTOR lasted for seasons...but at least all the folks there forced themselves to eat insects and such, rather than having them forcefed.

And STUDIO 60 and even STACKED weren't that bad, and Lindsay Price was the only actor on COUPLING US to have a clue as to how to play her character. Everything around her was dire.

Oh, and UNHITCHED did have a(producers) Farrelly Bros.-style tasteless rape (by an orangutan, not a monkey) of the male lead joke in the pilot, but the series as a whole was not bad, if always striving for Edge.

I had such high hopes for STUDIO 60. When the show worked, it was great, but it was mostly a mess.

The X-mas episode showed just how good it could have been. That was the show's finest moment.

I never watched most of the shows but I remember seeing the commercials for Cavemen and thinking that one's not going to last a whole season. They didn't put any of the bachelor spin-off type shows are on there and almost all of them a trash. I'd but Reel Chance at Love and Double Shot at Love on there and maybe For the love of Ray-J. Jon & Kate Plus 8 deserved a spot, that show convinced me that I don't want children.
