I've driven #1 every year since 2005. It does keep your pulse racing.Jeff
I-95 is #1! U-S-A! U-S-A!
For I-45, it would be interesting to know the % of total fatal accidents for the parts from Galveston to Houston, Houston to Conroe and through / near Dallas.
It's not just Floridians who suffer from I-95's dysfunctional traffic. My parents live in coastal Georgia and I-95 is pretty bad there too.I drive the I-12 on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain almost every day and it can also be pretty crappy (I can also see & hear it in the distance from my front yard, but that's another story), but I don't understand the writer's comment about drivers being distracted by Lake Pontchartrain to the south. You can't actually see Lake Pontchartrain from anywhere on the 12.
