BILL CRIDER'S POP CULTURE MAGAZINE
They forgot "Lambada" and "Boogaloo."
Our company IT employs a service called Websense, which "filters out" any sites or blogs which they consider too offensive or unsafe to be viewed by my innocent, unsoiled, 61-year-old eyes.Everything that you've ever put up from Cracked.com, Websense blocks. The reason they give: "Tasteless".OK. I accept that. Now will someone explain to me why Websense does not block each and every political/showbiz/sports/ pop cultural site for that same reason?I'm quite serious here. Some of the comment pages on the political blogs would make R. Lee Ermey blush. If you ask me, it's all so much estalsol nglounce!*these recognition words are really fun!*
I'm glad your company is looking out for you, Mike. The Cracked posts are indeed tasteless. But fun. As for the political blogs, I'm scared to look at them.
